NOVA Entertainment’s Coles Radio has more listeners than any other commercial DAB+ station according to the GfK DAB+ Digital Radio Report released yesterday.

Coles Radio clocked up 192,000 listeners across four cities – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide – resulting in 32,000 more listeners than its closest competitor.

Coles Radio is also the most listened to DAB+ station overall in Sydney with a cume of 82,000, and Brisbane with 38,000, and was also the most listened to commercial station in Melbourne with 54,000 listeners.

“Coles Radio launched in January 2014 and demonstrated NOVA Entertainment’s broader focus on levering its broadcast and content creation skills beyond traditional radio,” NOVA Entertainment’s Group Program Director Paul Jackson said.

“We are delighted with the continued success of Coles Radio across the DAB+ spectrum.”

Coles Radio was introduced onto DAB+ in Perth on May 10 this year and will be included in the GfK DAB+ Digital Radio Report from Survey 6 this year.

NOVA Entertainment’s smoothfm DAB+ station is the most listened to station in Perth with 35,000 cumulative listeners and second most listened to commercial station in Brisbane with 23,000 listeners.

I listen regularly to chemist warehouse remix when im not tuned to river 94.9
I like the music mix and the ads have no appeal to me which declines my spending quite nicely.

Wonder how they get these numbers,
