Mark Greasley back at 4BU on breakfast

Staff Writer

Following the departure of Trevor Leutton last month, Mark Greasley returns to Classic Hits 4BU in Bundaberg, where his radio career first began.

Mark said it was great to be back on breakfast. “I got my big break into radio in 1976 as Evening Announcer at 4BU and I couldn’t have been happier.”

“To come back over 40 years later to do Breakfast is like a dream come true.”

Mark’s talents have taken him around the country – first to 4GG on the Gold Coast, then 4BK in Brisbane and 2GO in Gosford. “I also spend 8 years doing the voice overs on Family Feud with Rob Brough on Channel 7, which was lots of fun,” added Mark.

Mark has always had a soft spot for Bundaberg. “I spent my school holidays with my Grandma and Pop at Elliott Heads every year so it’s great to be coming back to Bundy’s beautiful beaches, as well as the City, which has grown so much.”

4BU GM Trish Mears said they were delighted to welcome back Mark, “It’s great that Mark can come back to where he started his career,” Trish said. “He has a wealth of talent and is very enthusiastic to doing Breakfast on our ‘heritage station’ 4BU”.
