Staff Writer

NOVA Entertainment has announced the appointment of Stephanie Loupelis (pictured) as head of commercial partnerships within the national CREATE team and Marie Lacey as Melbourne group sales manager.

With over ten years sales experience, Loupelis joined NOVA Entertainment in March 2014 as Melbourne agency group sales manager and has managed the commercialisation of the company’s most ambitious commercial partnerships and integrated campaigns.

Loupelis has previously held management positions at MTV Networks Australia and Ignite Media Brands and has received multiple recognitions in both the B&T 30 Under 30 and Media-I Awards.

Loupelis will join the national CREATE leadership team under Kate Day’s direction and will lead the team responsible for creating and managing NOVA Entertainment’s market leading entertainment partnerships, in collaboration with like-minded brands, across the Nova and smoothfm networks.

The Commercial Partnerships portfolio includes music marketing, brand experience and sponsorship with the remit being to successfully leverage NOVA Entertainment owned assets and collective IP to maximise brand relevance for all partners.

Kate Day, NOVA Entertainment’s national commercial strategy director said: “Steph is passionate about brands and understands the power of great client service. She has proven experience in successfully balancing editorial and commercial priorities, to the benefit of all those invested in the success of the partnership.

“What sets her apart is that potent combination of being strategic, analytical and creative – but equally as capable operationally, which is essential for smooth design and execution of partnerships of any scale. Being able to follow through on your promises is the foundation of trust which we believe differentiates the client experience at Nova.”

Marie Lacey will join the team as group sales manager, replacing Loupelis in the Melbourne sales team. Marie will be responsible for the leadership & management of various key Melbourne media agencies and sales growth across the NOVA Entertainment portfolio.

Lacey has over 10 years experience in media and joins NOVA Entertainment from the Bauer Media Group, where she has held the position of group sales manager for the past five years.

Ben Dixon, NOVA Entertainment’s head of agency sales Melbourne said, “Marie’s reputation in market as a strategic and dynamic sales professional is second to none.  We’re thrilled she’s joining the team.”

Loupelis and Lacey will commence their new roles on Tuesday 31 January.
