Nova 100 is about to start its second year as the official FM partner for the VRC Melbourne Cup Carnival, starting tomorrow.

Deano, their network late night announcer, will broadcast live from 1pm to 4pm on Emirates Melbourne Cup Day.

Nova 100’s Hughesy & Kate will be at ladies day with their annual Oaks Day show from the Railway Hotel in Richmond. After the OB Hughesy & Kate will then take 80 winners for a day at the races in Nova’s VIP marquee.

All the other Nova 100 announcers are getting in the racing spirit, with brekky newsreader Lauren Brain being on the judging panel for Myer Fashions on the Field on Crown Oaks Day while Tim Blackwell, from Meshel, Tim & Marty, will be one of the judges on Emirates Stakes Day.
