When Maestro crashed at The Fox

Maestro at Fox FM in Melbourne crashed just before the Matt & Jo Show started this morning.

..... there was 45 seconds of dead air and the emergency tape kicked in.

Ten minutes later Matt, Jo & Troy were able to start the show without being able to play anything out of Maestro .... here is the first break ....

So they did the whole show on 'pedal power', playing music from Songl via their iPhones.

Jerimiah Busniak, their audio producer, records funny guest intro's but had to do one live this morning for Julia Morris.
 


After the show Jo said: "While it may be a commercial nightmare, from our point of view as performers it was a luxury to be able to creatively free fall and engage with our listeners in a more relaxed environment. I’m only amazed that my mic was open for such a long period of time without me swearing or defaming someone!"
