Sandilands, Keller, Turnbull, Blake trustworthy?

According to the latest Reader’s Digest list of Most Trusted Professions, there are some radio people who need to work on their images.

Radio talkback hosts came in at 43 on the list of 50 jobs. They were just ahead of real estate agents, call centre staff, sex workers, insurance salespeople, politicians and door-to-door salespeople.

Wonder what Alan Jones thinks of that?

Also low on the list were CEOS (in general), at 42, and journalists at 41.

The most trusted professionals? Paramedics.

As far as the list of Most Trusted People, Happy Hour host Hamish Blake was the highest radio name. He came in at 30 while Amanda Keller was from WSFM was at 39.

Radio National’s Wendy Harmer was listed at 47 ahead of Derryn Hinch who was at 52 and Todd Sampson, who recently scored a seat on the Fairfax Board, listed at 57.

Minister for Communications and the Most Influential Man in Australian Radio, Malcolm Turnbull, came in at 69 ahead of Kerry Stokes at 70 and Triple M’s Eddie McGuire at 72.

John Singleton was at 74, while KIIS’ Kyle Sandilands was the lowest ranked radio name. He came in at 96.

Least trusted on the list was Mercedes Corby who was one below sister drug-smuggling sister Schapelle. See the full list here.
