Radio Snowy Mountains, Making Christian Mobile

Staff Writer

Dan & Maz, Hamish & Andy, Jonesy & Amanda and Ray Hadley & The Continuous Call Team are all chipping in to help Make Christian Mobile.

Radio Snowy Mountain was contacted by a local mum who’s son, Christian is starting school next year and needs a new wheelchair – it’s a 6k price tag which made it impossible for the family to purchase on their own.

Christian has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and being mobile at his new school for 2015 is critical.

So Snow FM and Snowy Mountains 2XL are coming together with the community to raise money and have a silent auction over the first week of September to help.

Apart from some industry names getting behind it, Emily Goddard also told us:

“Local Olympic athletes Scott Kneller, Torah Bright and Russ Henshaw are donating some of their 2014 Sochi Olympic gear. The ACT Brumbies, Canberra Raiders and 2011 World Cup Wallabies Rugby teams have all donated signed jerseys.

(And) We also have been lucky enough to get Christians favourite group the Wiggles apart of Making Christian Mobile by donating a family pass and meet and greet at their Canberra show.”
