A Beanbag with legs, had legs.

It all started in August when Rosso spied the latest IKEA catalogue on a workmates desk.

His design vision (read “A Beanbag with legs”), was promptly shot down by his co-host Matty, but that did not stop Rosso.

Armed with a sketch and prototype, Rosso wanted to see the ROSSÖ stocked at IKEA.

Nothing stopped that determination, not even missing the print deadline for the latest IKEA catalogue (or even IKEA’s total lack of interest).

Rosso then stepped it up a notch, resorting to guerrilla tactics. He got a bunch of supporters stationed outside Melbourne’s IKEA handing out ROSSÖ inserts (which he had made himself) for the catalogue.

Rosso rallied thousands of people to sign his online petition, but it all culminated in organising his own ‘launch’ event yesterday at the IKEA store in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond.
