iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival Cancelled

Staff Writer

ARN and Dainty Group have just announced that the upcoming iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival has been cancelled.

Just a few short weeks back, KIIS & Edge Sydney, Mix Melbourne, and 97.3 in Brisbane all announced that the first iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival would be held in Sydney this October.

It was to be headlined by superstar Miley Cyrus, with a strong supporting lineup, and there was a further co-headline act to be released this week, however prior to the announcement they have pulled out, causing the cancellation.

It’s a bit of blow for ARN, telling us:

“Our objective for this first iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival was to create the very best experience possible for music lovers, and when this wasn’t possible, the difficult but necessary decision was made to cancel.”
