NZME forecast 8% growth in NZ radio assets

APN has released an overview of the recently rebranded NZME. business in New Zealand as it prepares to float the company.

The release is designed to 'enhance market understanding of the NZME. business' and outlines that 'NZME. is one of New Zealand’s largest media companies, with its print, radio, digital and e- commerce assets connecting with over 3.2 million New Zealanders each month.'

Radio has been a strong contributor to earnings for NZME. in New Zealand, with the sector delivering $26.2m profit from revenues of $134m in FY14.

Whilst the publishing division of ANZME. earned $52m in FY14, that has fallen by 30% in the last 3-years, with radio improving by 20% in that same period.

NZME. are forecasting 8.1% EBITDA growth for the radio division by the end of FY15, and have outlined the key ratings headlines of their brands in the report as shown below.
