Super Radio Network Upgrade

The Super Radio Network has 36 AM and FM stations, 45 translators as well as 5 Sydney DAB+ Radio Stations.

They are a big group in the scheme of things and they are about to upgrade and expand their satellite distribution network.

The Super Radio Network delivers the bulk of their programing to their network via satellite including “The John Laws Radio Morning Show”.

The cheque book has been cracked open with the upgrade including the Star Pro Audio Solution from International Datacasting.   The upgrade includes IDC’s new STAR-4 receivers, which provide four separate high quality stereo channels. The IDC Net Manager and Event Manager will allow easy management of the deployed network content around the group. Super Radio have been using IDC's framework since 1995.

The set-up is being installed locally to the network by Omnicast and will be up and running from January 1.
