First Day: The Byron and Kristie Show on SEA FM

The Central Coast got themselves a new breakfast show this morning with the first appearance of The Byron and Kristie Show on SEA FM

Byron Cooke and Kristie Mercer received a  big “Central Coast welcome hug” from the locals including Central Coast Mariners and Cleo Bachelor nominee Zac Anderson, however Central Coast icon John Singleton was a little harder to crack.

Singo was quick to welcome Byron and Kristie to the Coast, giving the team a starting position of his “favourite breakfast show” when 2GO’s Sarah King is off sick. “That was huge coming from Singo, we’re a show that’s more than happy to finish second” said Byron.

Looks like Byron can still pull a few strings with his buddy Fifi Box being a regular every Friday and tomorrow on the The Byron and Kristie Show, Byron will have a backstage interview with One Direction’s Harry Styles and Niall Horan.

Sea FM’s Kristie says “We’re excited to bring something fresh to the Coast, we want the show to be a party every morning, no R.S.V.P’s required.”

Southern Cross Austereo Gosford General Manager Paul Wrigley says the show is “honest and raw, I came to work to listen to the show at 5am, they sound like they are locals already, the best part is that they want to be Coasties. The show has already exceeded all of my expectations on the first day.”
