Triple M’s Hot Breakfast head to Anzac Cove

Triple M Melbourne has announced that the Hot Breakfast; Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy, will head to Gallipoli for Anzac Day commemorations this year.

The show will broadcast from Gallipoli for a week leading up to Anzac Day.

The trip was announced this morning on Triple M Melbourne by Veteran’s Affairs Minister Michael Ronaldson (audio below).

Triple M’s Hot Breakfast are one of 3 Australian radio programs who will broadcast from Anzac Cove; the other radio networks who will broadcast from Anzac Cove will be the ABC and 3AW’s Neil Mitchell. 

Mike Fitzpatrick, Head of the Triple M Network said,

“It’s an honour and a privilege for Triple M and The Hot Breakfast team to be Invited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the landing by broadcasting from Anzac Cove.

We have a dedicated team travelling with Eddie, Mick and Luke to Gallipoli for a week’s worth of breakfast shows on location- including a very special show on Anzac Day. We are hoping that Melbourne will reflect and commemorate along with us.”

Mick Molloy, who has a long history of supporting the armed services, said:

‘What a great honour, I can’t tell you how happy I am to be a part of this, absolutely awesome”
