Apple launches Beats 1 Worldwide

Apple have flicked the switch on their new worldwide radio station – Beats 1. Hear the launch below.

Zane Lowe kicked off the launch with his first daily show since leaving the BBC. Zane could be heard over ambient music preparing with a few ‘mic checks’ and talking to other studio locations to confirm a connection before the main launch piece.

If you want to listen to Apple’s creation, you’ll need the latest iOS 8.4 which has the new Music App for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Launching the app, you can then listen to Apple Music and Beats 1 and see the membership options. Beats1 is free once you have signed in.
