David Collins KO’ed

After 15 years, he is almost part of the furniture in Charlestown, having achieved the number 1 Breakfast show with Tanya Wilks, and currently as host of the Rush Hour on Drive….not to mention covering the Footy. But now, David Collins run at KO FM in Newcastle will come to a close.

Ashley Myatt, Regional General Manager NSWsaid today “KOFM has decided to move to a music based drive shift and David doesn’t see himself doing that in the future. I’d like to thank David for his enormous contribution to KOFM over the past 15 years – his passion for sport and creating great radio is recognised, we appreciate it and wish him all the best.”

Mike Byrne, Newcastle Group Content Director added “David is part of the fabric of Newcastle and we thank him for being part of the KOFM story over the past 15 years”.

KOFM will announce 2016’s on-air line up shortly.
