ACE Radio's Jon Vertigan was one of a number of presenters who had access to the various political leaders this week. The reason they were all doing the media round was the commencement of the carbon tax on 1 July.
The launch was overshadowed slightly by Trade Minister Craig Emerson's bizzare decision to sing a Skyhooks song to illustrate that Whyalla would survive. If you haven't seen it, watch it here. It's quite painful.
Along similar lines Jon Vertigan had some advice for Opposition Leader Tony Abbot. Heat the audio below - a warning however, it contains singing almost as bad as Craig Emerson's.

A fun way to add a different and topical dimension to an interview, well done!
