Made for Melbourne: Chrissie, Sam & Browny
With 300 plus people, Planetshakers in Southbank was the spot last night for Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny’s first official industry function.
Hosted by NOVA Entertainment COO Louise Higgins, MC Tom Gleisner gave some insight into Nova’s new breakfast team – Chrissie Swan, Sam Pang and Jonathan Brown.
The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra had different twist on some of Nova’s playlist including Justin Bieber’s Sorry and Pharrell Williams’ Happy, with Nova 100’s morning announcer Jaben Ryan taking over as DJ on the decks.
While the cocktails flowed, Apparition Media painted a contemporary mural of Chrissie, Sam & Browny which was concluded by the end of the night.

John Eren – Minister for Sport, Tourism & Major Events, Veteran Affairs, comedian Joel Creasey, Channel Nine’s Lauren Phillips, Real Housewives of Melbourne’s Pettifleur Berenger and Susie McLean, Neighbour’s star Olivia Valance, smoothfm’s Mike Perso, Jennifer Hansen and Ty Frost, Nova 100’s Jaben Ryan and Sarah Maree Cameron, and NOVA Entertainment’s Group Sales Director Peter Charlton, Chief Marketing & Digital Officer Tony Thomas, smoothfm’s Program Director Peter Clay and Nova 100 PD Rohan Brown.
The night wrapped up with a high energy set by modern DJ rapper Matty Charles who got the crowd dancing.
