Hauraki heads to the West Coast

New Zealand’s Alternative station Radio Hauraki is about to launch on the West Coast of NZ.

It means the small city of Greymouth, and the surrounding areas, will get their own dose of Hauraki talent including the Matt Heath and Jeremy Wells breakfast show, The Bhuja Drive show with Leigh Hart and Jason Hoyte, Shihad lead singer Jon Toogood who hosts a show on Sunday Nights. 

Mike McClung, NZME Chief Content Officer, Music Brands, said, “We know many on the West Coast are already listening to Hauraki via our iHeartRadio app, and we’re pumped to be able to now launch the station on 105.1FM. Our combination of awesome music and quality banter is a unique one that we know Coasters will enjoy.”

Radio Hauraki will launch in the market on Tuesday 7 June, with Matt Heath and Jeremy Wells doing their breakfast show from NZME’s Greymouth studios on Wednesday 8 June.
