Decency training for all at 2Day

Staff Writer

It has been revealed that compulsory decency training has been happening inside 2DayFM.

These sessions are for all announcers at the station, including Kyle Sandilands.

SCA has filed court documents detailing the training in an effort to show they are doing everything they can to avoid any further restrictions.

When it comes to bad language, the key message is they should "always apply the 'kids in the car test', especially during school drop-off and pick-up times".

In particular, it lists 9 "banned" words: F . .k, f . .ker, motherf . .ker, arsehole, bullshit, shit, f . .kwit, c . .t and c.ck.

Also off limits – "broadcast audio of sexual acts", "audio of porn" and "overtly graphic descriptions of sex"; racist abuse; denigration based on sexuality, such as using the word "tranny" to indicate transgender status; and words and phrases demeaning to the disabled, with examples given including "tard", "mental patient" and "You are so full of dementia".
