No K&J for MEL

“Kylie & Jackie O are a no-go in Melbourne for breakfast”

That was part of the headline from the Herald Sun with the paper confirming that Matt Tilley and Meshel Laurie are safe. Quoting ARN Group CD Duncan Campbell, “We are very happy to confirm that Matt & Meshel will be with us again in 2017 on Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1”

Duncan went on to confirm that ARN’s strategy for Breakfast shows nationally is be live and local, saying: “We program to the local nuances of the market”.

The paper goes onto say that they believe Matt & Meshel are locked in with their contracts until the end of 2017 at least. While K&J won’t be networked into Breakfast, they will continue to be heard in Melbourne from 6pm for an hour each day.
