SBS Radio celebrates Eurovision with new 24/7 station

SBS Radio today launched SBS Eurovision Radio, a non-stop soundtrack to the world’s biggest song contest, broadcasting 24 hours a day for the next two weeks until Sunday 14 May.

SBS Eurovision Radio delivers back-to-back Eurovision hits on digital radio, online and mobile showcasing the ‘official’ Top 100 Eurovision songs of all time, including 2016’s Australian finalist Dami Im’s Sound of Silence.

SBS Eurovision Radio will simulcast the live SBS coverage of semi-final 1 on 10 May, semi-final 2 on May 12 and the Grand Final on 14 May at 5am AEST.

Simulcasts of the Eurovision Top 40 songs on May 10 at 8:30pm and the primetime TV broadcasts at 7:30pm AEST on Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May.

2017’s Australian contestant Isaiah Firebrace will compete against 15 Eurovision heavyweights in semi-final 1 in the hope of proceeding to the Grand Final.
