1116 SEN to broadcast Super Bowl LIII Live
The team at 1116 SEN is gearing up to broadcast live coverage of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
Super Bowl LIII is set to take place in Atlanta in a few short weeks, with Gerard Whateley to lead the team, calling the game from right here in Australia.
The broadcast comes off the back of Whateley’s history-making Super Bowl call in 2018 when he became the first Australian to commentate the game from the ground as the Eagles beat the Pats.
This year 1116 SEN will bring all the action of the game from 9am AEDT, with Whately to be joined by respected US journo Larry Fitzgerald who is covering his 39th Super Bowl.
The call will be heard on 1629 SEN SA and on Macquarie Media’s News, Talk Sport DAB+ channels in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
