Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards
The search to unearth Australia’s youngest and brightest minds in radio, audio and podcasting has officially begun!
The next generation of radio talent and behind-the-scenes superstars are set to be celebrated at Radio Today’s inaugural 30 Under 30 Awards.
The awards will recognise radio’s rising stars across sales, on-air, programming, marketing, music, content, news, podcasting, digital and campaigns.
Entries for the Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards are officially open below.
The initiative is supported by Australian Radio Network, Nine Radio, Southern Cross Austereo, NOVA Entertainment, ACE Radio and Sony Music.
Five finalists and three winners will be selected from each of the ten categories. There will also be a publically voted Reader’s Choice winner.

Are you eligible to enter the 30 Under 30 Awards?
To be eligible, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen living and working in Australia aged 30 or under at 1 September 2020 and have been employed in the radio, audio or podcasting sectors during the 2020 calendar year.
What category should you select from the ten options?
Most people could fall under multiple categories, and some none at all. Just select the one that feels closest to your department or achievements. Don’t worry if you choose the wrong one. Our editors review all entries and will make the final call.
Can I start the application now and finish it later?
Absolutely, we appreciate you may need some time to answer the questions and gather any supporting documents. At the bottom of the application form is an option to ‘Save and Resume Later’. Click this, enter your email, and a unique link will be emailed to you.
Please save the email and link so you can return to the entry form when ready. However, your application must be completed and submitted before midnight on the Application Close date.
Entries for Radio Today’s 30 Under 30 Awards are now closed. A shortlist of 50 finalists will be announced Monday, November 16, with winners revealed on Thursday, November 26. Thank you to all who entered, good luck!
