Perth’s Carmen & Fitzi this morning launched the 96FM Million Dollar Kick – one West Coast Eagles fan could be one kick away from a mil.

96FM has partnered with Channel 7, The West Australian and the West Coast Eagles – the tie in will see a code word appear at every West Coast Eagles home game – on the big screen at the ground and at the same time on Seven’s broadcast. Eagles fans will need to register the code word online at 96fm.com.auand listen to 96FMs Carmen & Fitzi for their opportunity to take part in the 96FM Million Dollar Kick.

Only 11 finalists at the end of the home and away season will take part in an elimination event where one person will have the chance to kick a goal that could change their life.

ARN Commercial Director for Perth, Rick Dalton said the partnership highlighted the strength of multiple media providers partnering together on innovative multimedia campaigns.

“We are thrilled to be launching 96FM’s Million Dollar Kick, adding another dimension to audience engagement in the AFL season here in Perth”.

“ARN is committed to delivering compelling content for the people of Perth and it’s through these types of executions that we give new audiences the opportunity to engage with our brands in new and exciting ways.”

Seven West Media WA chief executive officer, Chris Wharton said this was a fantastic venture.

“This promotion should really capture the attention and interest of the tremendous footy fan base in WA.

“It’s a great first and Seven West Media is proud to be a part of it”.

West Coast Eagles General Manager – Marketing, Tony Haselhurst said the club was looking forward to celebrating its 30thanniversary with a bang.

“We have partnered with 96fm for 25 of those 30 years, and over that time they have run many promotions for our fans, but none as big as the 96fm Million Dollar Kick.

“We are delighted that 96fm are providing the chance for one lucky West Coast Eagles fan to kick for a million dollars! This is a great cross promotion amongst our media partners, for our fans, and we thank 96fm, The West Australian and Channel 7 Perth for their support.”

The first chance to enter will be this Saturday’s West Coast Eagles match against the Brisbane Lions.
