ARN along with Twitter have launched a Greenroom decked out with the latest social media tech to share content instantly.

Twitter has fitted the ARN Greenroom with a custom built Twitter Mirror for both VIP and On-Air talent to Tweet autographed selfies as gif’s. ARN say it’s the only one anywhere in the world outside of Twitter’s HQ in the US.

The new social hub will be used by all of ARN’s on-air talent and guests across KIIS 1065, WS FM101.7, The Edge 96.ONE and iHeartRadio . It will also see ARN launch special Twitter based fan events like Q&A sessions and longer behind the scenes content.

“As a socially engaged media and entertainment business, ARN are dedicated to reaching our audiences wherever they are. We’re pleased to be able to partner with Twitter to make it easier than ever for our brands’ fans to maintain strong connections with their favourite on-air talent and celebrities”, said Anthony Xydis ARN National Marketing Director.

“The elements of our new green room add a fun new approach and an exciting dimension to how our listeners interact with their favourite celebrities that feature on their favourite stations.”

Twitter Australia Partnerships Manager, Chris Ledlin said, “Radio and Twitter go hand in hand as they are both live, public and conversational formats. For years we’ve seen ARN stations and talent embrace Twitter to help fans get closer than ever before to their favourite presenters and local and global celebrity guests, and we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for fans from the Twitter tricked-out ARN Greenroom.”
