ABC unveils new ‘Fierce Girls’ podcast

The ABC introduces its latest podcast Fierce Girls, telling the stories of some of Australia’s most extraordinary women.

The podcast will be narrated be some of Australia’s most prominent media personalities and celebrities.

Fierce Girls will tell stories of inspiring female heroes including World War II spy, Nancy Wake; nine-time Paralympic gold medallist, Louise Sauvage; and the 16 year old girl who sailed solo around the world, Jessica Watson.

The series is aimed at primary school girls, and narrators include Leigh Sales, Lisa Wilkinson, actors Madison Lu and Justine Clarke, and surfer Steph Gilmore.

Launching ahead of International Women’s Day 2018, the first three episodes of Fierce Girls are available now on the ABC listen app, and Apple Podcasts.
