SCA elevates Amy Goggins to Sydney news editor role

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced Amy Goggins as its news editor for the Sydney newsroom.

The role spans both the Hit Network’s 2DayFM and Sydney’s Triple M operation and also involves working closely with the digital LiSTNR team.

Previously, Goggins was the Breakfast newsreader for 2DayFM and a producer across LiSTNR’s Your Morning Agenda podcast.

SCA has not had a Sydney-based news editor for some time. Instead, James Royce has been overseeing Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

SCA said Goggins’ promotion comes as there is a growing amount of news being produced out of Sydney.

Royce will continue to lead the news rooms as news editor across Melbourne and Adelaide.
