ARN’s parent company hires Angela Ewers as chief people officer

Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) parent company Here, There & Everywhere (HT&E) has created a chief people officer role to work across both companies.

To fill the position, HT&E has hired Angela Ewers who has held HR roles across James Hardie Building Products, Lion, Caltex Australia Petroleum, and Yum! Restaurants International.

Ewers will join the ARN executive leadership team and will be charged with supporting the company’s growth to ensue it is “Australia’s number one radio and digital audio business, but also one of the best places to work”, ARN said.

HT&E’s CEO Ciaran Davis said the new role was pivotal to ARN’s success.

“This newly created role of chief people officer is pivotal in HT&E’s strategy to increase performance and improve capability, as we continue our transition as Australia’s leading radio and digital audio provider,” he said.

“Angela will bring her expertise, innovation and dynamic approach to bolster ARN’s position as a high-performing, engaged, innovative and inclusive business.”

Ewers said she was excited to join HT&E and be part of ARN’s growth and transformation.

Ewers starts in November and will be based in Sydney.
