Brianna Peterson launches kids podcast ‘At Home With Brie’

Former ABC Radio host and producer, Brianna Peterson, has launched another podcast, titled At Home With Brie.

The host of successful kids science podcast Imagine This has created the new podcast in response to countless messages and emails she received during lockdown, seeking out a familiar voice.

Peterson said the podcast is about creating connection during isolation, and features conversations with kids from different parts of Australia.

“This podcast is a way for kids to connect across the country, and to hear that they aren’t alone,” she said.

“No matter your circumstances, there’s always another kid out there listening – who likes the same things or is going through something similar. We’re really not that different from each other.”

At Home With Brie has been produced from Peterson’s home in the Blue Mountains, and brings together her experience in early childcare and as an established audio producer.

“I am so excited to be launching the first season of At Home With Brie. Working with children and hearing their perspective on life is such a joy. I love making the podcast and I am sure our little listeners will love it too,” she added.

Peterson launched her first kids radio program Kids’ Caravan in 2009, before she completed her Graduate Diploma in Radio Broadcasting from AFTRS in 2011.

She also launched At Night With Brie, a kids sleep podcast, earlier in 2020.
