Britt Aylen joins SAFM’s Limestone Coast

Former Triple M Hobart announcer, Britt Aylen, has moved to the mainland, taking up an announcing gig at SAFM.

Aylen will be the only local announcer at SAFM’s Limestone Coast offering, which will air 9am to 12pm weekdays.

She joins from Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) stablemate Triple M, where in Hobart she hosted The Triple M CoMMMunity Calendar.

Aylen told Radio Today the Triple M program was an unfortunate COVID casualty, but she’s excited for her new role.

Throughout her career, Aylen has also worked as a producer and music director at SYN 1700, and presented the weeknight weather for 7 Spencer Gulf Nightly News and occasionally 7 News Tasmania.

In addition, she hosts a podcast about different songs and the things which link them together.

The Chain launched in June, and is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
