Browny gets red carpet treatment after Hall of Fame induction

Nova 100 host Jonathan ‘Browny’ Brown kicked a career milestone on Tuesday night (June 2) after he was inducted into the coveted AFL Hall of Fame.

His breakfast radio partners Chrissie Swan and Sam Pang celebrated the achievement with Browny on-air this morning, with a show dedicated to the Brisbane Lions great.

To revel the moment, they spoke with special guests including Brisbane Lion’s Leigh Matthews, fellow inductee Simon Black, AFL CEO Gill McLachlan and a montage from his family.

Browny said it was a very different Hall of Fame this year, as he watched the proceedings from home with his kids, saying he felt “very privileged” and “lucky”.
