Bryce departs Hitz 939 for WSFM

After two years at the Hitz 939 Bundaberg, Bryce Ruthven is leaving the station’s breakfast show for WSFM Sydney.

During his time at Hitz 939, Ruthven received two ACRA nominations including best on-air team in the country category, two Queensland Multimedia Award nominations plus a survey win in 2016.

Ruthven has accepted an offer to return home to Sydney with ARN-owned WSFM as Jonesy & Amanda‘s panel operator and producer.

On his new appointment, Ruthven said, “I am excited to be joining a talented team and working with some of the best programmers in the country.”

Ruthven’s breakfast co-host Tracey said she was excited about her on-air partner’s next chapter.

“It’s a great opportunity for him that he thoroughly deserves. Bundy and myself included will miss him and his contribution to Hitz 939!’

Bryce commences with WSFM on March 6.
