Podshape is the new home of Camille Cannings-hosted travel podcast The Van Life Series.

Cannings, a former Nova staffer and also the creator of Augie Sundays, chats with people living on the road to learn more about the phenomenon of packing up your life and living in a van.

“The idea behind The Van Life Series is to chat to people living on the road around the world who are challenging the ‘norm’, ditching the 9 to 5 and switching to this simple way of living,” she said.

“I want to know if you strip away the day to day stresses, give up most of your material items and convert to this simple life does it make you happier?”

Cannings said she is “excited” to join former boss, Jay Walkerden, and the Podshape team.

“Their podcast model is built around stories that can change the world, so it felt like a perfect fit.”

Cannings was formerly the Breakfast EP at Nova Brisbane, helping the show hold the #1 position for most of 2019. She reunites Walkerden to work together once again.

“Cam is a real gem, she understands what great content is and this podcast is perfect for anyone thinking about making a move from the daily 9-5 to a more simplistic way of living,” he said.

Walkerden, the former Nova Brisbane general manager launched Podshape in April 2020, with a view to helping brands enter the booming audio-on-demand space.
