Coast FM secures Nikki & de Mello for Breakfast

97.3 Coast FM have announced Nikki Parkinson and Darren de Mello as its new Breakfast team.

Coast FM have been looking for a new show since Gunner and Ali were revealed to be heading down the corridor to new station 91.7 The Wave.

Nikki and de Mello will now take the reigns for a new Breakfast show.

Nikki has been part of the Coast FM lineup for some time, and is excited to work with her new sparring partner.

“I didn’t get a choice,” she said.

Darren has worked in Perth for years, having started in radio back in the ’90s.

“To be honest, I’d never heard of him but he was in our price range,” said West Coast Radio content director John DeBellis.
