Creina Chapman’s new role at SCA

Creina Chapman is joining SCA as Head of Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Communications.

The new role will see Creina represent Southern Cross Austereo’s interests on industry bodies like  Commercial Radio Australia and FreeTV, as well as engaging with government regarding legislative change and managing corporate communications.

Southern Cross Austereo’s CEO, Grant Blackley, said: “Media reform is a necessary requirement to create a vibrant media sector that reflects the digital age.  Creina’s experience will allow Southern Cross Austereo to actively pursue the change agenda needed to support the growth of the business.”

Creina has over 20 years’ experience in the media industry from her time at News Limited, the Nine Network, Publishing and Broadcasting Limited, and more recently in retail at Woolworths. She has also worked in the Government sector as a senior policy advisory, most recently as Deputy Chief of Staff to Treasurer Joe Hockey.

Creina Chapman said: “I am delighted to be returning to a regulatory and communications role within the media and to be joining Southern Cross Austereo with such an ambitious agenda under new leadership.”

She starts with SCA October 6th.
