Crocmedia revs up programming with new show

Former Features Editor

Following the launch of their latest sports offering just last month, Crocmedia has announced that they’re venturing into the world of motorsport with a brand new program, The Driver’s Seat.

Hosted by former touring car driver turned high-performance driver trainer, Matt MacKelden, and car enthusiast and one-time V8 Supercar driver, Steve Johnson, the weekly motorsport show can be heard Sundays from 11am across the Super Radio & Resonate Networks.

Presented by Kubota, the show will feature interviews with some of the biggest names in motorsport, as well as road safety tips and innovations, and a regular segment highlighting vintage cars.

“We’re always looking for new ways to produce content that delivers for our clients whilst entertaining audiences and this show is a great example of both”, Crocmedia CEO Craig Hutchison said.

According to Kubota’s general manager of sales and marketing, Malcolm Owens, their support of the program came from a desire to give back to the community.

“We noticed a large number of car accidents where our dealers operate and wanted to take an active role in reducing the numbers,” he said.

“The program provides a great platform to engage with the community regarding road safety in a fun and educational way.”

The Driver’s Seat joins other specialty Crocmedia programs, including Off The Bench, Sportsday, SportZone, The Clubhouse, Great Australian Sporting Lives, Reel Adventures and The Sounding Board (podcast).
