When is Geelong getting DAB+? I live at Barwon Heads and would like to listen to more stations. Werribee has it but not Greater Geelong. We are the second biggest regional city in Australia. Newcastle has it but we are left out.

@Lyle Allen

I agree with you that places like Geelong should have DAB+ by now. It’s a complete failure of planning by both the operators, the government and the ACMA.

But Geelong isn’t the second biggest regional city – it comes after Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sunshine Coast and Wollongong.

Gold Coast is next for DAB+ but who knows when the ACMA will sort that one out. Newcastle doesn’t have it yet.

It is a joke really.
