Damien Leith heads to Wave FM Breakfast

Damien Leith is heading South to join the Breakfast team at Wave FM.

The Jade, Straney and Damien Leith Show starts from September 14.

Singer-songwriter, author and TV host Leith has spent the last two years co-hosting the Power FM Breakfast show in Muswellbrook.

“We are delighted that Damien will be joining our highly successful Breakfast team at Wave FM,” Ryan Rathbone, group content director for Grant Broadcasters said.

“We have absolutely top-quality talent across the group and it is always rewarding when, with the right training and support, we can offer these talented announcers’ bigger opportunities.”

Damien Leith won an ACRA in 2019 for his local tributes to towns affected by the NSW drought.

“I love working at Power FM but the time is now right to move to Wave FM and join the team in Wollongong,” he said.

I have worked with Jade and Straney on a number of projects and the chemistry was great!”

To celebrate the move he’ll debut his new song ‘Sha La La’ on September 4, across the Grant Broadcasters radio network.
