Producer Darcy Milne launches new podcasting course

Audio producer Darcy Milne has launched an online podcasting course, Create A Podcast, designed to help aspiring creators get their show on the road.

The seven-module course walks students through purchasing the right equipment for their show, all the way to finding a hosting platform and hitting publish.

The course is designed not only for beginners, but also for established audio creators who are seeking out “a professional edge”. Upon enrolling, students are given immediate access to 10 videos that show each step of the process.

Milne is known for his recent work as the audio producer for Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty. In the past, the 26-year-old producer has also worked with IKEA, Apple, Google and other companies to help them break into Australia’s podcasting scene.

“Podcasting is now the centrepiece of any organisation’s audio strategy as well as the perfect outlet for those individuals wanting to share their story and expertise,” he said in a statement.
