Dirk Anthony leaves SBS

Dirk Anthony (left) has resigned as Director of Audio and Language Content at SBS to relocate back to the UK with his family.

Anthony, an Australian with an English wife, has been in Sydney for three years and will relocate to the UK in May.

SBS Managing Director Michael Ebeid said “(Anthony) has made a significant contribution to SBS and to increasing the professionalism and output of the ALC team.”

“Dirk is also a great team player and a valued member of the SBS Executive and has provided me personally with much support and guidance. I am very sad to see Dirk go but know he is making the right decision for his family and their future.”

His replacement at SBS is respected radio executive Mandi Wicks.
