DMG appoints Assistant Group Programmer

DMG Radio have promoted Nova 100 Program Director Mike Cass to Assistant Group Program Director for the Nova network. Cass will retain his role as Program Director of Nova Melbourne.

Cass commented "I'm excited (to) continue to drive dmg radio's brands forward". In the most recent Nielsen Media results, Nova 100 was DMG's star performer moving up by an impressive 1.5%. Cass is reportedly highly regarded within DMG for his work at Nova 100, and previously at Nova 937, growing both stations during his time there. 

No doubt DMG will be hoping that Cass can address the ratings fall across the rest of the Nova group, in particular Nova 969 which has seen ratings decline significantly since the station was relaunched with a mainstream hit format (below).
