Eastern Football League partners with 1377 SEN+

Staff Writer

1116 SEN‘s digital broadcast station 1377 SEN+ has announced a new partnership with Victoria’s Eastern Football League.

The league is the biggest and number-one ranked in the state and has signed a two-year deal with SEN.

The deal means that EFL Game Day will be broadcast live on Saturdays, with a review show on Sundays from 10am-12pm.

The partnership extends to the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

“We’re delighted to partner with the EFL, championing local footy in Victoria, and elevating SEN’s strong position as a leader in broadcasting live sport across both 1116 SEN and 1377 SEN+,” said Crocmedia chief commercial officer and 1116 SEN GM Sam Bingley.

“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with SEN to include broadcasting of games and feature shows,” said EFL chief executive officer Troy Swainston.

“The standard and interest in local footy have never been higher and we look forward to bringing our competition to an expanded audience listening through the radio on 1377 SEN+ and via the SEN app.”

The Pacific Star Network rebranded Classic Rock 1377 AM to SEN+ in August this year.

Disgraceful, why can’t Crocmedia sell the 1377 Frequency to Sydney Based Oceanic Capital And Return the Music to 1377?

It’s official ! The once great 1377 3MP has now been downgraded to a community station that no one listens to. Done by people who know nothing about radio. Very sad.

The 1377 AM transmitter points towards Frankston, (not towards Melbourne city) so not many listeners will hear it.
