KIIS’ national drive show Will & Woody will soon have a new executive producer, with Ed Kirkwood taking over in 2021.

He replaces Tia Ucich who is returning to her hometown of Perth, and will finish up on the program on Friday, November 27.

Uchich was a campaign co-ordinator with KIIS’ parent company Australian Radio Network (ARN) in Perth in 2016. She joined Southern Cross Austereo’s (SCA) Hit92.9 as brand and promotions manager in early 2017, before moving east for the KIIS EP gig in late 2017.

Kirkwood, meanwhile, joins ARN from SCA, where he is currently a senior producer on its Drive show, Hughesy & Ed. Prior to that, he was a content producer on 2DayFM Breakfast, and spent over four years at the ABC in various roles including executive producer of the triple j Drive show.

ARN’s chief content officer Duncan Campbell said Kirkwood brings exceptional experience to the role, and will be a great addition to the team.

He also paid tribute to Ucich.

“Over the past three years, Tia has been an important part of the Will & Woody team, and I thank her for her contribution to the show’s success and wish her all the best for the future,” he said.
