Em Rusciano and Harley Breen to go national from today

Former Features Editor

Em Rusciano and Harley Breen will once again fill the spot vacated by Rove and Sam on the Hit Network, taking over the evening slot with a “best of” show.

The pair will fill the 7-8pm weeknights timeslot across the Hit Network from Monday 17 July, with an hour of content from the morning’s program.

The Hit Network’s Head of Content Gemma Fordham explained that the show’s heart and humour is resonating enough with Sydney listeners to take the highlights to a national audience.

“Listeners from outside Sydney have told us they too want to be able to listen to the show,” she said.

“We are thrilled to be able to answer that call and continue to build on Em and Harley’s super-engaged community across the country.”

The news comes off the back of the commencement of the show’s Favourite Things competition, which will see a new “favourite thing” revealed every morning and then listeners calling in all day to enter the draw to win.

The first prize on offer this morning was a trip for two people to Las Vegas, including tickets to see the likes of Cher, Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears.

Em Rusciano with Harley Breen starts tonight on the Hit Network’s 43 metro and regional stations across Australia from 7pm. Hear the announcement at the end of their show this morning below.
