Emotive: content that moves you

Staff Writer

Simon Joyce returns with Emotive. Simon is the founder of a new independent content marketing business, which is backed by ARN and APN.

Emotive is set to deliver targeted content marketing solutions for clients, linking emotive content in the entertainment space.

“Brands now more than ever need to embrace their role as publishers by creating desired owned content that is engaging, entertaining and works in harmony with paid media. We specialise in creating video and event content for brands that emotionally connects through entertainment culture. We know that emotion is the single most important motivator in purchasing decisions.” said Simon Joyce.

Emotive’s foundation client is ARN’s iHeartRadio, with the plan to secure more partnerships and create a series of original music content programs for client brands.

“At Emotive we have developed a unique model that will allow us to not only guarantee our clients an audience, but the right audience. Our model starts and ends with the people who are actually consuming the content. We mix deep audience research and identification with innovative content strategy and pinpoint amplification. Essentially, we deliver content to people who we know will love it, find value in it and act on it.”

Emotive will also tap into APN’s other properties including Adshel. Simon Joyce has stressed that Emotive is independent, saying “our independence gives us a clear mandate to target the right audience, wherever they may be.”

Joining Simon Joyce at Emotive is co-founder of Boom, Jamie Crick, who will lead the content side.  Charlie Leahy, also from Boom, has been appointed as Executive Creative Director.

Ben Keep, formerly with MCM, will take the role of Chief Operating Officer, Alison Mitchell is Marketing & Activations Manager, Aimee Stewart is Partnership Director, and former Razorfish execs Matt Merryfull and Dan Leon Krause will join as Chief Technology Officer and Digital Design Director

A Commercial Director is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
