Fitzy & Wippa stitch-up Brekky rivals Jonesy & Amanda

Nova 96.9‘s Fitzy & Wippa love a good stitch up, and this time around they’ve taken aim at rival Sydney Breakfast show Jonesy & Amanda.

The boys were attending a recent charity auction for Save Our Sons – an organisation raising funds and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) – when they noticed that a Jones & Amanda Meet & Greet was up for auction.

They started by convincing producer Lucy’s husband to purchase the meet and greet, and originally had the idea to attend it themselves (dressed in prosthetics).

After deciding it wasn’t the best idea (given Fitzy’s height is noticeable and he’s also allergic to latex), they sent a 12-year-old recruit Jett to go to the greet and pretend it was a school project.

Fitzy & Wippa staked out the studio and sent in Jett undercover with an ear-piece and a secret camera, to repeat word-for-word what the boys wanted to say.
