Fitzy & Wippa send Matt de Groot to penetrate Thor film set

Sydney Nova Breakfast duo Fitzy & Wippa have sent newsreader Matt de Groot in a bid to infiltrate the Thor film set in Centennial Park.

De Groot was dressed as a tree, telling security he was an extra in the film, known as ‘Tree 13’.

It was a resounding ‘no’ from set security though, who blocked him with Bunnings umbrellas.

“Unfortunately you’re not coming on set, sir,” the security guard said.
