Footy or Rugby… how are you covering it?

Whether it’s AFL, NRL or Rugby with the World Cup, while it’s fast coming to the pointy end of season for both AFL and NRL, the Rugby World Cup is ramping up as well.

Here’s a quick snapshot of how some stations are reflecting the code that rules the roost in their markets.

In NZ, it’s the Rugby World Cup. There’s going to be some early mornings to watch the Rugby World Cup games, so Hauraki breakfast have set-up their very own grandstand at their Hauraki Bar HQ. In NRL territory in Sydney, The Triple M Grill Team’s No BS Grand Final Lunch is back.

Triple M have gone about creating an event which is positioned as “hot in the footy calendar”. They line up a bunch of big name NRL players, past and present like Geoff Toovey and Wendell Sailor. Get the voice of footy Ray ‘Rabs’ Warren in the mix along with others as it gets closer.

Back to Sydney and over at 2GB they are giving footy fans the chance to win the ULTIMATE NRL GRAND FINAL PACKAGE.
