GOLD Central Victoria moves into a brand new HQ

GOLD Central Victoria opened its new headquarters this week with a launch party on Tuesday evening.

The new facility houses GOLD FM 98.3/AM 1071 and is located on High Street, Golden Square. A full year of research, design and building went into the new HQ.

GM Shane Hogan said that the move was about making the station more accessible.

“We wanted a facility in a location that was easier for our many listeners, clients and contributors tobe able to access, and Golden Square,” he said.

In the official opening announcement, the new building was linked with a confidence that GOLD Central Victoria is set to have in the future of Bendigo and the greater region.

Grant Broadcasters CEO Alison Cameron added; “GOLD proudly used local businesses and trades people with this new development, injecting
hundreds of thousands of dollars into the Central Victorian economy.”

GOLD’s content director Daniel Brewer said localism will remain core to the station.

“We are delighted with the end result and we look forward to continuing to provide Central Victorians a locally produced, locally focused, locally relevant radio station from 333 High St Golden Square,” he said.
