Grant Denyer and Amanda Keller to host Ten’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Staff Writer

2DayFM‘s Grant Denyer and WSFM‘s Amanda Keller have been tapped to host Network Ten’s revival of Dancing With The Stars in 2019.

Gold Logie winner Denyer, who won the fourth season of the show when it was on Channel 7, will join forces with fellow previous participant Keller, it was confirmed this week.

“The worldwide success of Dancing With The Stars is simply phenomenal and the show has never been stronger,” Grant said

“This series will be much bigger, more glamorous and dazzling than ever. Australia has never seen dancing this spectacular.

“Get ready for something truly outstanding. I’m so happy I’m crying sequins down my fake tanned cheeks.”

Keller also can’t wait “to be part of the spangley madness that is Dancing With The Stars.

“My own brand of dancing failed to the impress all those years ago. Hopefully I’ll have more success this time around – off the dance floor.”

Attention has now turned to the potential competitors for the show, with a few radio names being bandied around.

Sportsbet has KIIS FM’s Kyle Sandilands paying $18 to feature on the show.

Either or both former 2DayFM Breakfast hosts Rove McManus and Sam Frost could conceivably join the cast, with both potentially on the lookout for a new gig.

Regular KIIS FM guests Sam Dastyari and Roxy Jacenko are others who’ve remained close to the spotlight over the past few months and could be a boost for the profile of the show.
